A treasure in the community. Always great customer service and always fresh food options that taste great. You get a great value for your money and the food fuels your day and instills joy in your being. Love the staff and love the mindset of the folks who frequent this establishment. Come for take out or you can dine in as the space is comfortable and welcoming. The hot bar is my favorite but they have a salad bar and also they prepare some times made to order.
Soul Veg City is a wholesome establishment and has quality delivery services. The cusines were neatly packaged and secure. The cusines have a soul food vibe and the ingredients are fresh. This is a recommended spot to try for vegetarian and vegan communities as well as those looking to try something new.
I've been wanting to come here forever but from where I live in the city it's quite the trek. So when some friends were in town it was a perfect excuse to go on a journey and get some delicious vegan food. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that not only could you get offerings from the buffet style layout they had but also order food for them to make on the spot. Everything looked and sounded delicious, so it was difficult to choose just a few things. My friends and I got a ton of food but I personally tried the Cajun shrimp with rice and the drumsticks with jerk sauce. The shrimp had a really lovely texture that reminded me of the real thing, which I have not had in probably about 20 years. The seasoning was amazing too and it went nicely with the rice. The all star for me were the drumsticks. I'm glad I got them covered in the jerk sauce and not just on the side because the flavor was amazing. The texture of the drumsticks was quite nice as well being closer to an actual drumstick but not exactly the same which is all right. It didn't taste fake though. The space is very casual but comfy with a lot of locals dining there. The staff were super friendly and inviting as well which is always nice. This is definitely somewhere I will recommend. Everyone goes, especially if they are a vegan or vegetarian and looking for some delicious food in the city. I can't wait to find an excuse again to go here.
I haven't been here in years because I had a memory of a smaller restaurant. Their remodel is amazing. Spacious, bright, great food options, signage for menu easy to read, food displayed looked good. I loved this place. I ordered rice, beans, cabbage, spaghetti and had a berry berry smoothie. Loved that the smoothie is blended as you order it and it's not loaded down with sugar. Everything looked good but I couldn't get it all in 1 trip. I have to go back. I think you'll enjoy your visit there as well.
I loved it I took my son they're for breakfast for his birthday today to get pancakes. He wasn't hungry but I enjoyed my meal. I wish they had other rights besides tofu although they were good, I particularly don't like you because I'm allergic.
First time here & the workers was welcoming and nice! Food is great! Smoothies fye ! I got the citrus detox one , very refreshing. Definitely highly recommend if you want some healthy vegan and soul food options!
I got the combo at an event and it was SOOO GOOD. The food was so flavorful and delicious. The mac and cheese is definitely a favorite of all the vegan macs i’ve tried. The greens were tasty. The ribs were great. Can’t wait to try more from their menu!
